An additional 25-million support for SFD IV signed
The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the World Bank signed in Washington D.C. a preliminary amended draft agreement supporting the SFD IV with an additional $25-million grant in addition to the original support of $60 million. The additional funding shall finance projects to create employment opportunities and providing them with work skills and to improve access to community basic social services.
The support has come after the independent Impact Evaluation issued in 2010 that underscored the SFD interventions success in achieving social impact that has changed the lives of individuals in the local communities. The related institutional evaluation also underpinned that the SFD's policies were supportive to effectiveness and efficiency of its interventions and operations.
