Shabwa's Chief of Local Authority inaugurates a medical center in Ataq

Secretary General of the Local Authority of Shabwa governorate Hashlah Nasser Abed-Rabo and Assistant Undersecretary of the governorate Mr. Ali bin Rashid Al Harthi inaugurated the SFD-funded Emergency Medical Center of the Yemen Red Crescent Society Branch in Shabwah

The center costed $370 thousand and is fully equipped to cope with the Society's needs that will contribute in enable the Society's staff to offer their medical services for all people of Shabwa.

For his part, the director of the Yemen Red Crescent Society branch Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Shakliyah thanked and appreciated the Social Fund for Development Branch of Mukalla who funded and equipped the center. He emphasized that the Society would strive to make the center plays a major role in improving and developing the work and activities of the branch and enable it to fulfill its role and activities in the governorate.
